It was a busy, busy week at Silver Creek Golf Club as three major tournaments were held on Monday, Friday, and Saturday. The reviews were again overwhelmingly positive, and even as open golfers crowded the course on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday – golfers were overjoyed with the condition.
The heat has been on for the last two months. While this summer has been one to remember, our Superintendent Paul Clark, as well as his entire team have been working overtime keeping the course in pristine condition. On Monday, thunderstorms dropped some much needed, and heavy rain on the course – but the weather pattern remains hot, dry, and breezy. The Silver Creek team, as well as all of our patrons thank Superintendent Clark for his continued efforts in making Silver Creek a premier golf experience for all.
In addition to three tournaments, this past Wednesday marked the third week of Junior Golf Camp, which is executed in coordination with the Waterloo and Seneca Falls Parks & Recreation Departments. We would like to thank the students, parents, staff members, and John McCully – whose efforts have made this year’s program an overwhelming success.
Here’s a look back at some of the action this week at Silver Creek.

Next Week at The Creek
Silver Creek Golf Club will be hosting just one tournament, which means there will be plenty of time to get out and enjoy the course during the last week of July. The summer is moving quick, so be sure to hit the links – as the weather looks to stay warm and dry throughout the days remaining.
The KMR Memorial Fund tournament will tee of Saturday at noon. If you’re participating in this great event, be sure to check out the Facebook Page dedicated to the tournament below.
As always, open golfers are welcomed throughout the week. Give us a call in the pro shop to set up a tee time. Silver Creek Golf Club remains the best value, dollar-for-dollar in the Finger Lakes. Stop in to see what The Creek is all about – and remember to visit our Facebook Page!
